Understanding Low backpain

Low back pain is a typical musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction that may affect particular structure like joints & muscle. Low back pain sometimes radiates to buttock or legs and have clinical sign like pain, stiffness in back. Low back pain is classified according to causes like mechanical, muscular, nerve related problems affect the spinal structure.

It may mainly occur in 20- 60 yrs of age. The pain may felt in costal margin and gluteal fold. If pain radiates due to nerve irritation it is called as sciatica . There may be nerve compression, tingling, numbness in leg.

There is lifetime prevalence is 60- 80% . It may due to disability weakness.
